Don and Bernice Furlotte

Brian was our next door neighbour and just a wonderful person. He was always friendly and chats that we had are remembered fondly. Brian and Don shared a love of airplanes and enjoyed talking about them. Brian will be greatly missed by all in Hidden Valley who had the absolute pleasure to meet and share time with him. He will certainly be missed by both Don and I.

Our most sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to Joan, Chris, Bill, David and Elizabeth along with their families. May God bless and comfort each of them as they face the loss of their loved one.

Don and Bernice Furlotte

I have fond memories of Brian from when we first met at McKenzie Island. Brian was 9 and I was 12.He learned to swim using my flippers. We shared many great times fishing, playing fastball and doing all the things teenagers do as they grow up. Our paths seperated us once we left high shool but we managed to stay in touch. He always called me Sam Cooper and he was always Fred Carroll. (after 2 old propector who lived on the Island0. I will keep our good memories. Joan and family keep your good memories of a wonderful man who was your husband, father and Grandfather. Mel, enjoyed our chat, hope to see you in person someday.

So sad to read in today's newspaper that Brian had passed away. We met while working at Confederation College and had many conversations there over the years.

How happy he must have been that he managed to attend Elizabeth's wedding - that is such an important day for the bride's father...

He was a kind, thoughtful man who will be missed - my sincere sympathy to all his loved ones.
