School Chums
Posted: June 14, 2012 | Last Revised: June 14, 2012

We were school chums taking the boat from the Island to Cochenor and the the bus to Red Lake. At the age of 16 and 17 we did not know anything at all about life. We soon learned fast. I am sorry we did not touch base while we both were in the RCAF. I was a pilot instructor at the time, located on the prairies. Brian was out east. By the way, I was Born January 5, 1940, just a little older than Brian, not much. He played a good game of football and he always had a fantastic sense of humour. I know we will all miss him, even though I have not seen him in quite a number of years. I will always remember him. I know he is getting the upstairs ready for me. My condolences to the family. Bob Borbridge
