Life Legacy
CLARK, Winnifred Mary “Win” nee Cameron, 76 of Middleton Heart of the Valley Long Term Care formerly of Halifax passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Moncton NB to the late Donald and Winnifred (Jennings) Cameron. Win was employed by Dalhousie University for many years in various departments. Upon her retirement in 1998 she had been a secretary for the doctors in the psychiatry department at the IWK for 15 years. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Bud in May 2001. They had loved their summers on the Island, particularly Cove Head and Stanhope Beach, where they would take long walks on the beach and swim in the ocean. She is survived by her children, Wendy (Hartley Bricks), Toronto; Peter (Lori Gagnon-Clark), Timberlea; Sue (Brian) Saunders, Kingston, NS; Steve, Dartmouth, Chris (Val), Bridgewater; grandchildren, Leslie Saunders, Vancouver; Beth and Jeff Saunders, St, John’s, NL; Kelby and Brooklyn Clark, Bridgewater; Caroline and David Bricks, Toronto and Maggie Gagnon, Timberlea; her loving sister, Beverly McLeod, Parksville, BC; many brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A service will be held at a later date on Prince Edward Island. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made in her honor to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
