Life Legacy


HYNES, Florence Elizabeth passed away peacefully on May 19, 2012 in Soldiers` Memorial Hospital, Middleton with her children by her side. She was born in 1935 in Botwood Newfoundland to the late Charles and Francis Snow. In her early years she was a nurse, but later became partner and business owner with her husband at Hynes Upholstery. She enjoyed bluegrass music and festivals. Florence is survived by her husband, Edward, Kingston, NS; son, Wayne (Louise), Shearwater, NS; daughters Wanda (Chuck) Swinimer, Mahone Bay, NS; Sherry (Rick) Ryan, Nictaux, NS; son-in-law, Stan Baldwin, Nictaux, NS, sisters, Daphne (Eloil) Bishop, Victoria, NL; Shirley ( Gordon)Thorne, Enfield, NS; Sarah(Patrick) Gill; Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; brothers, Winston (Linda) Snow, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL; and Thomas (Olive)Snow, Barrie, ON; brothers in-law, Lester (Grace) Hynes, NL; Roy Hynes, Grand Falls-Windsor NL; grandchildren and great grandchildren, April (Buddy) Doucette and their children Brendan, Kayleigh, Hayden; Sarah (Justin) Penny and their son Jaxson; Danielle Baldwin (Stewart Jeffries); Jimmy Hynes and his children Taylor, Daniel, Samaura; Edward (Megan) Hynes and their children Haley, Wayne, Danika; Gregory (Amy) Hynes and their children Charles, Gregory; Doyle Swinimer; Kaela Swinimer (Mat Himmelman) and their child Izabella; Lori Swinimer (Dave Vieira) and their children Brooklyn and Ava; Vanessa Swinimer (Steven Cammaert) and their children Nathan and Cali; Nicholas Hynes (Trevor Little); Daniel Ryan; Michael Ryan (Katherine Jenkins); Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Deborah Baldwin, nephew Ron Thorne, and her sister in-law Beulah Hynes. The family would like to thank Dr. McLean and the nursing staff at Soldiers Memorial Hospital for their care. A memorial service will be held 3:00pm Friday, May 25, 2012 in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Middleton, with Canon Edward Vaughan officiating. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Middleton. No visitation by request of family.
