Life Legacy
MUNROE, Farrell LeRoy “Junior” – 64, of Freeport, NS passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Digby, he was a son of the late Farrell and Mary (Vantassel) Munroe. Farrell “Junior” was a loving husband, brother, father and grandfather. He was a fisherman, inventor and an avid hunter. He loved all his family and gave generously from his heart to family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife the former Verona Outhouse; daughters, Nancy (Larry) Wheeler, Ship Cove, NL; Linda (Greg) Keeping, Deep River, ON; son, James (Kathy) Munroe, Prospect Bay; sisters, Louella Haynes, Digby; Vera (Gordon) Kinney, Plympton; Nancy (Gary) Huston, Kingston; grandchildren, Lorrie, Erin, Charlene, Jessie, Joey, Duncan, John and Josh; three great- granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 10:00am – 12:00pm Saturday, July 7, 2012 in the Freeport United Baptist Church followed by a graveside service at 2:00pm in the Brookside Cemetery, Freeport. Rev. Roy Bertaux officiating. If weather is inclement service will be held in the church. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Red Cross.
