GREENE, Helen Geraldine -92 of North Williamston, Annapolis County passed away Friday, July 27, 2012 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in North Williamston, she was a daughter of the late William and Ada (Crowley) Bent. Helen was the last surviving member of her family. She was an avid Bingo player, loved the outdoors especially the birds in the feeders and hummingbirds. In her earlier years, she loved playing cards, especially 45’s. Helen loved her family dearly, especially all her grandchildren. She is survived by daughters, Helen (Jim) Brown, Quispamsis, NB; May (Denis) AuCoin, North Williamston; sons, George (Ginny) Greene and Ken (Pat) Greene, both of North Williamston; grandchildren, Debbie, Jackie, Kimberly, Tammy, Corey and Lucas; great grandchildren, Amy, Kayla, Kyle, Brandon, Katlyn, Bentley, Allan and Dillon. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, George; sisters, Mora, Gladys, Velma, Evelyn and Jeanie; brothers, Sam, Harlan, Stan and Henry in infancy. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00PM, Monday, July 30, 2012 in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street (902) 825-3448 where the funeral service will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, July 31, 2012 with Pastor Patty Beals officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown. Donations in Helen’s memory may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society or Canadian Diabetes Association.
