BENT, Alice "Audrey" ~ age 93 of Middleton, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2020 in Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Centre, Middleton. Born in Bridgetown, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Hannah (Bezanson) Eisner. Audrey worked at Stedman's Department Store, Middleton. She was a very independent lady who was community minded. Audrey loved dancing and music and enjoyed going to jam sessions. She had many friends and enjoyed the comradery. She loved drives in her Mustang, playing games and bowling and was an incredible cook and baker of donuts and bread. Audrey will be deeply missed by her daughters, Cheryl Putnam, Middleton; and Beverly Cress, Nictaux; son Jerry (Sandra), Nictaux; brother, Percy (Margo) Eisner, Kingston, ON; grandchildren, Lisa (Harvey) Richards; Michelle MacLean (Dave); Marty Cress (Amanda); Jamie Cress; Craig Bent (Juanita) and Shelley Bent (Neil); thirteen great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Audrey was predeceased by her husband, Earl "Russell" Bent; sons, Ivan and Percy; sisters, Iona Whitman and Inez Hatt; brothers, Lawrence, Claude and Stan. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2020 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St. toll free 1-855-825-3448, with Pastor Shelley Illsley-Martin officiating.
