DAVIS, A. Eugene ~ Age 79, of Morristown, Kings Co., passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at home. Born on August 23, 1942, in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late Adolphus H. and Addie R. (VanAmburg) Davis. Eugene was well known for being an avid horseman, attending many exhibitions, horse shows and horse pulls. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying archery and hunting. Eugene had been employed for many years at Larsen Packers Ltd., Berwick, retiring as a shop steward. Eugene was a member of Morristown Baptist Church. Surviving are his children, Michael (Marnie) Davis, Prince William, N.B.; Bradley (Elaine) Davis; and Dianna (John) White, both of Morristown; grandchildren, Colton, Ryan, Hunter, Dustin and Chris (Jeanna); great grandchildren, Ava, Lowla and Laya; sister, Edith "Eddie" (Edward) Eby; brothers, Douglas "Doug" (Myrna) Davis, Paul (Pauline) Davis and David (Susan) Davis, all of Nictaux; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, the former Dianne E. Lutz; children, Marlene and Randall "Randy" . A graveside service for family and close friends will take place at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 28, Morristown Cemetery, with Rev. Chad Clements officiating.
