Obituary

McCormick, Alfred "James" – Age 85 of Middleton, passed away, June 21, 2018, in Soldier's Memorial Hospital. Born in Norfolk, New York, he was a son of the late Hubert and Ella (Millar) McCormick. James joined the Air Force in 1950 and served as a navigator. He retired and moved to Middleton. He was a member of St. John's United Church. James will be sadly missed by his wife, Shirley (MacKenzie); daughter, Shirley Rose, Ottawa; sons, James, Calgary; David (Nora), Calgary; grandchildren, Sara (Cameron) Taylor and Amy (Matthew) Morgan. Besides his parents, James was predeceased by his brother, Lorne, sister, Kathleen Willbee, son-in-law, Wade Rose, brother-in-law, Sheldon MacKenzie, sister-in-law, Marian MacIntosh. Cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Sunday, June 24 at the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St. 902-825-3448. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00PM, Monday, June 25, at St. Johns United Church, Middleton, with Rev. Karen Ralph officiating. Donations in Jim's memory can be made to a Charity of Choice.
