PEARLE, Adelbert (Del) Stanley ~ Age 70 of Halifax, NS passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Kentville, he was a son of the late Lorne and Elaine (Brewster) Pearle. Del began his career as a computer technician at HMC Dockyard, in Halifax. He spent 35 years in that skilled trade working for IBM and had been happily retired for more than 10 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Karen Payzant, Halifax; sons, Dean Pearle, Dartmouth, Kevin Pearle, Kentville; sister Heather Pearle-Gillis (Robert Benjamin), South Farmington; brothers, James Pearle (Sandra Henry), Meadowvale, Keith (Bonnie) Pearle, Mosher's Corner, Ross (Ellen) Pearle, Mt. Uniacke; Sister-in-law, Linda Pearle; grandson, Keith. Del was predeceased by his brother, Ivan Pearle and granddaughter, Sara Pearle. Cremation has taken place. There will be a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 16 ^th , 2019 at Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St. 902-825-3448. According to his wishes, his remains will be scattered at sea, on the Bay of Fundy, at a later date. A memorial stone will be placed in his honour in the Pearle family plot in Torbrook, NS, also at a later date.
