EVERETT, Albert "Neil" - Passed July 18, 2018, surrounded by his loving family, at the QE2, after an extended illness. Neil was an avid Ham Radio Operator call sign VE1AHN. Neil was employed by various companies through the years, in which he was responsible for much of the design and maintenance of Nova Scotia's Emergency Telecommunications System, of which he was quite proud. He was a loving husband of 48 years to wife Doreen, and proud father of his two children Tanya (Lawrence) and Andrew (Liz). Neil was predeceased by infant son Andrew Neil DeBlois, his parents Priscilla "Pat" and Deblois Everett, sisters Carol and Gail. In keeping with Neil's wishes cremation will take place, Memorial Mass will take place Thursday July 26, 2018 at One pm, at St. Monica's Parrish in Middleton with Father John MacPherson and Deacon Don Boudreau officiating. A Celebration of Life BBQ with Neil's favorite items will follow at home, all are welcome . Home visitation only. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and The Arthritis Society of Nova Scotia.
