Obituary

Lasseter, Aleah – 78 of Kingston, passed away peacefully Monday, March 13, 2023 surrounded by loved ones in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Summerside, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Jean (Lyle) Wood. Growing up in Summerside she forged many friendships that she carried through life.  She married the love of her life and was happy to spend the early years looking after her family before going back to work.  She found a new love in her grandchildren and enjoyed every moment spent with them whether it be cooking and baking, at the cottage, hockey games, dinners, or shopping.  She was a devoted friend to many and her beautiful soul will be greatly missed. Surviving are her daughter, Tiana (David) Marston, Melvern Square; daughter-in-law, Tara Lasseter (Wayne), Upper Granville: grandchildren, Travis Hall (Morgan), Dartmouth; Briana (Mark) Gregson, Amherst; Shayna Hall (Robbie), Halifax; Kyle Lasseter (Becca), Amherst; brother-in-law, Paul Fleming, Oakville, ON; nieces Sharon Fleming (Rob), Toronto, ON; Cynthia Fleming, Oakville, ON; Paula Fleming, Oakville, ON; and many more extended family members. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ronald; son, Robert; sister, June Fleming. There will be a Celebration of Life 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 25, 2023 in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, 1-855-825-3448. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley, PEI at a later date.
