Obituary

COLEMAN, Alice Lillian -84 of Bridgetown, formerly of Middleton, NS, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2012 in Saunders Rest Home, Bridgetown. Born in Milton, Queen's County, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Ellen (Demone) Rhyno. Alice was a member of the Middleton Baptist Church and the Baptist Women's Club; Middleton Branch #1 Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary; Past President Contemporary Club; Fundy Square Dancers Club; Square Dancers Plus and in earlier years Sunday Night Bowling League and Tuesday Afternoon Bowling League. Alice loved knitting, quilting, doing crossword puzzles, but most of all BINGO. She is survived by daughters, Marilyn (John) Hudgins, Kingston; Nancy O'Neil, London, ON; Terri Jamieson (Allen Benjamin), Port Williams; son, David Coleman, Middleton; brother, Willis Rhyno, London, ON; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Allen; son, Donnie; six sisters and six brothers. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00PM Saturday, January 21, 2012 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448, where a memorial service will be held 2:00PM, Sunday, January 22, 2012 with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. Interment will be in the Nictaux Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
