Dahr, Alice Marie ~ Age 77 of Canaan, Kings Co., NS passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at home with her family by her side. Born in Inglisville, she was a daughter of the late Lindsay and Elizabeth (Burns) Stoddart. Alice enjoyed going to various music jam sessions and was an avid bingo player. She will be missed by her canine companions, Daisy Mae and Miss Molly. Alice is survived by her daughters, Doris (Cecil) Millett, Canaan; Laurie (Steve) Miller, Sault Ste. Marie, ON; Jean (Andrew) Labrador, Middleton; sons, Frank (Audra) Foley, Greywood; Ernest Bennett (Linda Combs), Bear River; Ralph Bennett, Middleton; stepchildren, daughters, Mae Jordan, Sackville; Susan (Doug) Towers, Mt. Uniacke; sons, David, Upper Sackville; Mark (Sandy), Halifax; sister, Carolyn King, Clarence, brother Ronald (Wilma) Stoddart, South Williamson; grandchildren, Shannon (Greg) Sewards and Ashley Foley and many more grandchildren and step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Burton "Dennis" Dahr; daughter, Ann Elliott; son in infancy, Nelson; brothers; Raymond, Harold, Wayne and James; sisters, Dorothy and Myrna, half-brothers; Floyd and Leslie, half-sisters; Viola, Isabell, Laura and Stella.  In keeping with Alice's wishes, cremation has taken place.
