CROUSE, Alice Frances "Faye" - age 82 of Nictaux Falls, NS passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at home. Born in Parker's Cove, NS she was a daughter of the late George and Betty (Clayton) Balcom. Faye loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar and the fiddle. She enjoyed painting, cooking, rug-hooking and going to jam sessions. Faye was a member of the Circle of Friends and past member of the Nictaux Firettes. She devoted her life to her family. Faye is survived by her daughters, Sheryl (Daniel) Johnston, Granville Ferry; Melinda (John) Burchill, Gander, NL; Mariann Constanine, Edmonton, AB; her sons, Richard Crouse (Joann Gibson), Hamilton, ON; Earl Crouse, Prince George, BC; Bradley Crouse, Nictaux Falls; her brother, Robert "Bob" (Jean) Balcom, Berwick; her grandchildren, Danielle MacKinnon, Levi Crouse, Melanie Taylor, Danielle Walsh, Brent Crouse, Corey Town, Kristopher Crouse, Katherine Crouse, Carly Giffin, Vanessa McPherson and several great grandchildren; sister-in-law Brigitte Balcom. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Frank; sons Roger and Frankie; brother, George and sister, Mary Ann Gallison. Visitation will be held 2-4PM Saturday, January 17, 2015 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448. Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Sunday, January 18, 2015 in the Nictaux Baptist Church with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. Interment will be in the Nictaux Cemetery.
