Obituary

NICHOLS, Alice Alberta ~ age 90 of Aylesford East, Kings Co., passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021. Born on March 8, 1930 in Seabrook, Digby Co., she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Sarah (Banks) Roberts. She was predeceased by her husband, Whitney, as well as her two sons, Robert and Roy Nichols.  Alice was a member of the Coldbrook Baptist Church.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters in law, Sandra Nichols, Port Williams, and Janet Nichols, Aylesford. Nan will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Scott (Erika) Nichols, Kentville; Lisa (Jonathan) Tweedie, North Alton; Christie Nichols (Frederick Paquet), Kentville; Jeremy Nichols (Robyn Amos), Bedford, and Jeffrey Nichols (Samantha Antonio), Halifax. She was very proud of her great grandchildren, Helaina, Chase, and Lauren Nichols; Rylan and Elsa Tweedie, and Eliane Paquet. Alice is also survived by her sister, Evelyn Strong, Berwick, and was predeceased by her sister, Beatrice Roberts. In keeping with Alice's wishes, a private family graveside service will take place in the Aylesford Union Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Merrill officiating.
