MACLENNAN, Allan "Ross" –
age 77 of Kingston, NS passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at home, surrounded by his family. Born in Toronto, ON, he was a son of the late Rita B. Williams and Allan G. MacLennan. Ross served for 5 years in the Royal Canadian Navy. He retired as an elevator mechanic. He enjoyed woodworking and volunteering his time and was always very willing to help others. Ross was a former member of the Lion's Club in Pasadena, NL. He loved restoring antique cars and was a member of the Antique Auto Club. Ross will be sadly missed by his wife Sandra (Tilley); daughter Heather MacLennan of Lindsay, ON; son Robert MacLennan of Ottawa, ON; sister Ruth Rowley of Peterborough, ON; brothers Neil (Sue) MacLennan of Carleton Place, ON; Don (Lynn) MacLennan of Barrie, ON and Keith MacLennan, ON; grandchildren Shelby Papp, Chloe Elmy and Elena Elmy; step grandchildren Jennifer Elmy, James Elmy and Donna Elmy and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Ross's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 21st, from All Saints Anglican Church, Kingston with Father Michael McKeage officiating followed by a reception.
