REESE, Allison Jr. "Sonny" Alfred ~ Age 72 of Cambridge passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Waterville he was a son of the late Allison and Dorothy (Hudgins) Reese. Sonny spent his working career around chickens, having been employed with ACA CO-OP and Eden Valley Farms. He had lots of the community kids work with him. Sonny enjoyed fishing and his Saturday night "poker games". He loved to torment his grandkids, great grandkids, and the family dog "Keemo". Sonny loved tinkering on old cars and working on the homestead. He enjoyed watching tv from the comfort of his couch – "Don't Touch the Remote". Sonny is survived by his wife Margaret, daughters, Yvonne (Kevin Kelley) Reese, Suzie AKA "Bakey Bill" Reese, Tasha (Marc Whittier) Reese, all of Berwick, NS; sisters, Margie (Doug) Wambolt, Patsy Dunham, both of Waterville, NS; brothers, Robbie (Janet) Reese, Aylesford, Larry (Sheila) Reese, Kendall (Karen) Reese both from Cambridge, four grandchildren, Todd, Shane, Katlyn, James; two great grandsons, Jace & Hunter. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sisters, Anna Arenburg, Betty Dorey, brothers, Harold, and George Reese. There will be a memorial service by invitation only at 3 p.m., Thursday, July 15, in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448, with Pastor Christina Bigelow officiating. Please note that pandemic restrictions are in place. For those unable to attend in person, a live webcast of the service will be available for live streaming on the funeral home website at 2:55 p.m. ADT, Thursday, July 15, by selecting the "Live Stream" option at the top of the home page.
