OGILVIE, Allison Ronald – Age 83 of Spa Springs, Annapolis County, passed away at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Middleton, Wednesday, April 19th, 2017. Born October 30 th, 1933 in Burlington, Kings County, he was a son of the late Walter and Blanche (Lewis) Ogilvie. Allison started his newly married life with his wife Pearl in Clarence. Working for Paul and Shirley Balsor at their Box Factory in Aylesford, soon after he purchased it, employing many workers over the years. Eventually Allison purchased the farm running a successful Dairy business. Later returning to the box making business and raising beef cattle till retirement. He loved working outdoors and spending time in the woods as well as gardening. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and neighbors.  Allison is survived by his sister; Vivian Ogilvie, Berwick, brother; Arnold (Olive) Ogilvie, Burlington, children; Barbara Ogilvie, Calgary, Stephen Ogilvie, Calgary, Lynn (Ogilvie) Vince Fredericks, Kentville, Michael Ogilvie, Spa Springs, Grandchildren; Amy Ogilvie, Quebec, Hunter Ogilvie, Cape Breton, Gabe Ogilvie, Middleton, Stephen and Johnathan Fredericks. He was predeceased by his loving wife Pearl (Henry), sisters; Leona Oliver, Elsie (Ogilvie) Thorpe, Alda Ogilvie, Eyvonne Aughinbaugh, brothers; Lewis, Cyril and Gordon. By request there will be no visitation.  There will be a Funeral Service  at 2:00PM, Monday, April 24, 2017 with Rev. Leon Langille officiating  at the Middleton Funeral Home  398 Main St. 902-825-3448. Interment will be at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton.
