Clarke, Altha Fern – Age 83 of Middleton Annapolis Co., passed away Sunday November 28, 2021, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Victoria Beach, she was a daughter of the late George and Olive (Munroe) Haynes. Altha enjoyed working in the yard. She was a great cook and baker and will be fondly remembered for her breads and donuts. Altha enjoyed old movies and music. She loved going for drives and seeing the countryside. Altha devoted her life to raising her family. Surviving are her husband, Daniel "Danny" Clarke, Middleton; daughter, Susan (Everett) Redden, South Alton; sons, Daniel (Elizabeth) Adams, West Torbrook, Brian (Patricia) Adams, Nictaux; daughter-in-law, Debra Adams, Wilmot; sisters, Elizabeth Coutts, Nictaux, Maisie Sarty, Inglisville; brother, David Haynes, Granville Ferry; grandchildren, Melissa (Darcy), Josh (John), Cody (Shelley), Derek (Stephanie), Jennifer (James), Kristina (Arron), Shane (Courtney), Braden; great grandchildren, Roxy, Harley, Evelyn, Noah, Alexis, Avery, Isabelle; several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to care givers, Cynthia, Lisa & Susan and to Dr. Heisler, Dr. Clarke and the I.C.U. care team for all their care and compassion. Besides her parents, Altha was predeceased by her first husband, Gordon Adams; son, Timothy Adams; sister, Geraldine; brothers, Ross & Percy. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 2 p.m. in Torbrook Mines United Cemetery. Rev. Leon Langille officiating.
