FREEMAN, Amanda Dawn – age 34, of Greenwich, NS formerly of Middleton, NS passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016. Born in Middleton, she was a daughter of Larry Freeman, Middleton and the late Linda Garber. Amanda was a free spirit and truly loved her girls. She also had a love for animals. She is survived by her father, Larry Freeman, Middleton; step-mother, Veronica Baldar, Halifax; daughters, Amaya and Italy; brother, Stephen Freeman, Bridgewater; step-sister, Mandy (Matt) MacDougall, Wilmot; step-brother, Bryson Smith, Halifax; step-father, Kees DeGraaf, Canning; maternal grandparents, Bill and Marilyn Garber and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides her mother, she was predeceased by brother Trevor Freeman; step-sister, Ashley Smith and paternal grandparents, Stillman and Beverly Freeman. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1:00PM Saturday, February 20, 2016 in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. Interment will be held in Church Grove Cemetery, Melvern Square at a later date.
