Obituary

Ewing, Amy Mae - age 78 of Kingston passed away peacefully on November 14, 2016 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born on May 25, 1938 in East Dalhousie, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Alma (Veinotte) Bezanson. Amy is survived by her children, Darlean (Fred) Hazelwood of Kingston, Teresa (Tim) Parks of Greenwood, Gwen (Brian) Jordan of Truro and Janice (Jim), Schofield of Nictaux: sisters Pearl and Doris; brothers, Lawson, Harold, Alfred, Vance and Joseph; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Amy was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Paul Kingsley (2004) who she met in Dalhousie, where it was love at first sight. Amy worked at Sawlers Gardens, Berwick for many years. She was a wonderful mother and friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed going to the mall with her friends and family for tea. Amy loved her dog Lady and cat Casey which gave her comfort in her later years. She will be sadly missed and forever remembered. At Amy's request, cremation has taken place and she will be interred with her husband Paul. A graveside service for friends and family will be held at 2:00 PM, November 19, 2016 in the North Kingston Cemetery, with Rev. Leon Langille officiating, followed by a reception at the Kingston Legion. Donations in Amy's memory may be made to Carey Me Fund or a charity of choice.
