McCOLM, Andrew Burton "Andy" ~ age 31 of Weymouth, NS passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Born in Hamilton, ON he was a son of Charles "Scott" and Marilyn (Denholm) McColm, Weymouth. Andy was employed with A.F. Theriault, Meteghan and for many years worked at Jason Mullen's Mink Ranch. He would help anyone he could and had a big heart and could never say no. Andy always had a wrench in his hand and everything was in "mint" shape. He was an entrepreneur and if you needed anything it was "in stock". Andy especially enjoyed spending time with his children and loved his family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, Scott and Marilyn McColm, Weymouth; fiancée, Bethany "Beth" Murphy, Weymouth; his children, Hailey McColm, Brayden McColm, Ian McColm all of Weymouth and son, Nicholas Leaman, Carleton; brothers, Joseph "Joe" McColm (Tara Saulnier), Yarmouth; Douglas  "Doug" McColm (Cierra Paris), Weymouth; James "Jimmy" (Nicole) McColm, Weymouth; sister, Amy McColm (Joe Hutchins), British Columbia; brother, Chad McColm (Audrey Burton), Cambridge, ON; maternal grandmother, Margaret Denholm, Weymouth; close family friend, Fred Blinn, Weymouth; nieces and nephews Tristan and Rayne, Easton and Sadie, Zachary, Hayden, Anthony, Matthew and Damon. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather John Denholm and paternal grandparents Douglas and Dorothy McColm. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Monday, June 24, 2019 in the Havelock Wesleyan Church, Hassett, NS where a Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 25, 2019 with Pastor Shawn Craven officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. Donations in Andy's memory may be made to the IWK Health Centre.
