WILLETT, Angelina Pearl - age 92 of Paradise, NS formerly of Nictaux, NS stepped from time into eternity and was received in Heaven as a faithful servant, on November 11, 2014 at the Annapolis Community Health Centre, Annapolis Royal, NS. Angelina was born on Christmas Day 1921 to the late Arthur and Sardina (Robar) Bruce and was one of 12 children. In 1939 she married Raymond Willett and together they raised a family of six children. Angelina had a deep love for her family and was cherished by them. She was the quintessential mother and grandmother, who did everything with excellence. She was a wonderful homemaker, cook, neighbour, gardener, friend, seamstress and quilter, making quilts for all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Angelina was a woman of great faith who taught her children the ways of the Lord. She loved her church and sang in the church choir for more than 50 years. Her family often heard her singing hymns as she went about her daily tasks. Angelina was employed at the Middleton post office for a number of years and was a deaconess and secretary of the memorial fund at her church for many years. She is survived by all her children, sons Rev. Hugh (Alice) Willett, Ottawa, ON, Rev. Jackson (Elaina) Willett, Kingston, NB, Bryan (Shirley) Willett, Bridgetown, NS; daughters Donna Willett, Toronto, Barbara (Carl) Norden, Toronto and Nancy (Reuben) Hatt; siblings Waneita, Thelma, Vernon and many nieces and nephews; Cherished grandchildren, Crystal (Michael) Carlos and children Madalynn and Joshua; Jeffrey Norden; Joel (Angela) and children Levi and Isaac; Thomas (Mary) Norden; Jana (Michael) Arthurs and children, Michaela and Emma; Julie (Christopher) Gray and children Erin, Alexander and Angelina; Carol (Michael) Canty; Pamela (Robin) Lewis and children Nathaniel and Timothy, Dena Willett, Sarah (Travis) Wentzell and son, Raymond Douglas, his great-grandfather's namesake. Besides her parents, Angelina was predeceased by her husband and infant daughter, Elizabeth Ann; siblings, Leslie, Kenneth, Laurie, Goldie, Ivy, Vera, Ira and Marie. There will be visitation 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM on Friday, November 14, 2014 at the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902)825-3448. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Nictaux Baptist Church with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating.
