MacDONALD, Anita Victoria ~ Age 59, Middleton, Annapolis Co., passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on February 7, 1961, in Digby, she was a daughter of the late Vincent Joseph and Estella Christina (Comeau) Tarrant. Anita was a graduate of Digby Regional High School and later attended the NSCC, Middleton Campus CCA program. Besides being a homemaker she had worked on the cleaning staff at the IWK Health Centre and worked at Convergy's Call Centre. Anita was faithful to Middleton Baptist Church, where she assisted in Sunday School and because she loved to sing, had been a member of the choir. She was also active in her community. Anita enjoyed reading and knitting for her children and grandchildren. She loved Jesus, her family, horses and cats. Surviving are her son, Daniel (Rachelle) MacDonald; daughter, Samantha Steele; grandchildren, Riley MacDonald, Kleopatra and Amilia Steele, Brier King-Fiander; former spouse, Robert "Bob" MacDonald; sisters, Joan Testori; Vicky (Cyril) Drake; Paula Tarrant; Kimberly Comeau; brothers, Ron (Elise) Tarrant; Mike and Paul Comeau; sister-in-law, Sadie Tarrant-Hickey; nieces, Nicole Willis and Trisha Drake; nephews, Trevor Tarrant; Tyler and Timothy Drake; great nephew, Drew Tarrant. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brother, Bob Tarrant; sister, Anna Maria Tarrant. There will be no visitation. A private graveside service will take place in North Kingston Cemetery, with Rev. Danny Smith officiating, a live stream of the service will be available to be viewed through the funeral home website 'Live Stream' option beginning at 10:55 a.m. ADT, Wednesday, August 26.
