Obituary

PETERS, Ann Louise - 53 of Kingston, NS passed away suddenly, Thursday, October 15, 2015, at home. Born in Middleton, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Edna (Murphy) Whynot. Ann was a member of the original Junior Auxiliary and then an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #98 for 36 years. She was a member of the Emmanuel Congregational Christian Church, Middleton. Ann loved playing darts and bingo. She was a very caring and outgoing lady and will be remembered by her kindness and her willingness to help everyone. Ann is survived by her husband Tom Peters, Kingston; brother Cecil Whynot (Charlene Baker), Aylesford; daughter Amanda Peters (Joe Milbury), Lawrencetown. She was predeceased by her son David and several aunts, nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM, Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Branch #98 Royal Canadian Legion, Kingston, Rev. Sweis Ubels officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. Donations in memory may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or charity of one's choice.
