Quinn, Muriel Anna "Anne" ~ Age 95, of Margaretsville, NS passed in the early morning hours on March 20, 2025 surrounded by family at Evergreen Home for Special Care in Kentville. Born in Middleton on November 21, 1929, Anne was the daughter of the late Elsie Mildred (Falkenham) and William Martin Johnson. She was a proud graduate of the Victoria General Hospital School of Nursing and was involved in active nursing throughout her life. She began her nursing career in Paediatrics at the old Children's Hospital in the 1950's and finished out her career as a geriatric nurse at Dykeland Lodge in Windsor. While at Dykeland, she was the representative on the Collective Bargaining Team for the NS Nurses Union until her retirement in 1994.

Apart from her career, she was also a loving mother, wife, grandmother and friend of many. After retirement, Anne settled in Margaretsville where she enjoyed much family time, gardening, reading, feeding all the birds and listening to the ocean.

Anne leaves behind her son Richard (Patti); daughters Sandra and Melodie; sister Patricia Macdonald; grandchildren Angela (Chris), Tony (Melissa), Danielle, Brianna (Zach), Brandon, and Tammy (Alonzo) to whom she was especially close, 12 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A special mention to Bill and Bev Street who she loved like family. Besides her parents, Anne was predeceased by husband Reg, brothers Donnie, Ged, and Curt; sisters Nellie, Margie, Bonnie, and Bea; brother-in-law Don.

In keeping with Anne's wishes her body has been cremated and a private family interment will be held in Torbrook Mines Cemetery at a later date.
