TAYLOR, Anne Elizabeth "Betty" nee Wheadon, wonderful wife and friend of Ron Taylor, Greenwood and daughter of the late Kenneth and Lela (Nickerson) Wheadon of Wolfville, passed away peacefully at home, the morning of August 15, 2014 at the age of 80. She is survived by daughter Anita Snelgrove (John), Ottawa; stepsons Ron Jr. Taylor, Summerside, PEI, Kenneth (Carolyn) Taylor, Ottawa, Ont, Peter (Nancy) Taylor, Trenton, Ont., Dave (Alaine) Taylor, White Rock, BC and Cary Taylor, Glace Bay, NS; 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; brothers Ralph Wheadon, Timberlea and James Wheadon, Coldbrook. She was predeceased by a son David Snelgrove and a sister Mona Drabble. Betty was an ex-member of the RCAF and current member of the RCAFA (Greenwood). She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed many years travelling and camping both down south and across the Maritimes. In more recent years, she attended many local Bluegrass and country and western festivals with her husband. By request there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 19th in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 conducted by the members of the RCAFA, Greenwood. Private family interment will be in the North Kingston Cemetery.
