Deveau, Anne Marie – 72, of Kingston passed away Wednesday, March 26 at home. Born in Kingston, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Jannette (Does) Cassidy. Anne loved music and retired after working for over 25 years at CD Plus in the Greenwood Mall. She was the most selfless person, always putting others' needs before her own and always going out of her way to help people. Anne never missed the chance to watch her granddaughter's volleyball games. As a lover of lists, Anne enjoyed keeping track of all the chipmunks, squirrels, and birds in their backyard. When not at home watching NASCAR, GP Sail Racing, or Tour de France, Anne could be found looking for sea glass along the shore or attending the annual Air show. Surviving are her husband of 51 years, William; daughters Christine Deveau, Kingston and Angela (Chris Jackson) Deveau, Toronto, ON; granddaughter Alexis "Alex" Deveau, Kingston. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Bill Cassidy. In keeping with Anne's wishes, cremation has taken place. Donations in memory of Anne may be made to 'Hope for Wildlife'.
