JAQUES, Anne Marie ~ Age 86 of Mosher's Corner, Annapolis County passed away peacefully at home with her daughters beside her on July 4, 2019.  Born in Middleton she was a daughter of Roy and Vera (Carson) Cox. She grew up on the family farm in Brooklyn and was a Leading Airwoman in the RCAF from 1951 to 1954. In 1954 she married Flight Lieutenant Kenneth Jaques.  Air force life took them to many places in the world. They lived 25 years in Brampton Ontario when Ken was a Captain for Air Canada then spent their retirement years in their new home overlooking the Annapolis Valley. Anne was always active and involved with her family. She loved curling, skiing, skating and basketball. She took many college courses over the years and loved learning new things. Anne is survived by her three daughters, Cynthia Lynn (Sverre) Hanssen, Moshers Corner; Diana Lee Valorie (Joseph), Destin Fla.; Linda Marie (Albert) Dishy , Brampton Ont.; sister Kaye Peppard of Middleton NS; grandchildren , Jackie Warren, Nicholas Valorie, Alexander Hanssen, Tom Erik Hanssen, Heidi Ohno, Adam Dishy, Daniel Dishy and Jon Dishy. She had 5 great grandchildren. Anne was predeceased by her husband Kenneth; brothers Moody, Rawleigh, Leland and Frank and sisters Naomie, Adelia, and Marion. A graveside service will held at Pine Grove Cemetery Middleton at a later date. Donations in memory can be made to The Victorian Order of Nurses Annapolis Valley Branch or to Annapolis Valley Palliative Care.
