Obituary

WARNER, Ardath Joyce – age 93, of Middleton, formerly of Aylesford, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017, in Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Facility, Middleton. Born on August 5, 1924 in Dempsey Corner, Kings Co., she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Ethel (Marshall) Baltzer. Ardath was a member of Nictaux Baptist Church and the Nictaux Friendly Club. She was a past member of the Busy Bees Seniors Club, Torbrook Mines and the Canadian Cancer Society. Ardath was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are her daughter, Joy Warner, St. Croix Cove; grandchildren, Layla (Michael) Brobbel, Isa Bishop, Koltt and Clint Warner-Rhoddy; great grandchildren, Annika Lily and Ari Michael Brobbel. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Maurice R. Warner; brothers, Keith, Peter, Clyde, Percy, Clifford and Paul Baltzer; sisters, Marjorie Metcalf, Pearl Anthony, Violet Bowlby and Merna Nichols. There will be no visitation or funeral. A private interment will take place in Aylesford Union Cemetery. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Nictaux Baptist Church.
