VEINOTT, Ardythe Pauline ~ age 93 of Orchard View Apartments, Berwick passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Kingston, NS, she was a daughter of the late James and Marion (Magee) Foster. Ardythe spent her working career in the restaurant business, retiring from the Robert Simpson Co. after 23 years of service. She had many special memories and a special place in her heart for great nephew Justin Keddy, who kept her supplied with her favourite chocolates. Ardythe loved all animals and will be missed by her pets, Tooter and Dallas. She enjoyed socializing, playing cards, dining out and spending time with her family and friends, as well as other residents of Orchard View. Ardythe will be sadly missed by sisters Ruth Wilkins, Middleton and Hope Frances Keddy, North Kingston; nephews Gary (Sandy) Keddy, Coldbrook; Allen Keddy, Edmonton, AB; Wayne Keddy, Kingston; Eldon Keddy, North Kingston; Richard (Vickie) Keddy, North Kingston; David (Darlene) Keddy, North Kingston; nieces Carolyn (Vaughn) Fitzgerald, Granville Ferry; Marsha Wilkins, Bridgetown; Norma (Bob) Bent, Wilmot; June (George) Reagh, Middleton; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Besides her parents, Ardythe was predeceased by her former husband Robie; brother Vaughn and brothers-in-law Elvin Wilkins and Douglas Keddy. In keeping with Ardythe's wishes, cremation has taken place. A family graveside service will be held Monday, August 6th in the North Kingston Cemetery with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. The interment will be followed by a celebration of Ardythe's life at 4 pm in the Orchard View Apartments with Rev. Sarah Scott officiating. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
