Obituary

SABINE, Arleen (Eileen) May – 96 of Wilmot passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Bloomington, Annapolis County she was a daughter of the late Percy and Eva (Robar) Ernst. Arleen was a former member of Branch #98 Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary, Kingston. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends who will miss her deeply. Arleen is survived by her son; David (Debbie) Sabine, Wilmot, daughter; Carole Ann (Wayne) Kenney, Moncton, NB; grandchildren Nicholas, Lucas and Zachary (Leah); great grandchildren Samson & Oliver as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas; sisters Evelyn Burns, Hilda Muise, Flora Corbin and a half-sister Eveline Robar; brothers Lloyd, Harold, Howard, Harry and a half-brother Arnold Robar as well as a grandson Christopher. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 7 – 9 p.m. Saturday, February 18th in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., 902 825-3448, where a Memorial Service will be held at 3 pm Sunday, February 19th with Rev. Elizabeth Amirault officiating. A reception will follow the service, with interment at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
