HUDSON, Arthur "Sherman" ~ age 75 of Annapolis Royal, NS, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, in the Annapolis Royal Nursing Home. Born in Annapolis Royal, he was the son of the late Herbert and Lena (Buckler) Hudson. Sherman was a devoted member of the Parish of Annapolis, where he previously served on Parish Council and was actively involved in many aspects of church life. He also served the Town of Annapolis Royal for many years as Municipal Clerk, later continuing his commitment to the community as a councillor. Sherman is survived by his sister, Audrey Barteaux, Annapolis Royal; brother, Harvey (Johanna) Hudson, Lower Sackville; several nieces and nephews and extended family. Funeral service will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, September 23, 2025 in St. Luke's Anglican Church, 340 St. George Street, Annapolis Royal with Rev. Julia Ford officiating. Interment will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Donations in memory of Sherman may be made to the Woodlawn Cemetery.
