Obituary

NEILY, Arthur Ingram-86 of Nictaux West passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Middleton, he was a son of the late Ingram and Elsie (Mitchell) Neily. Arthur devoted his entire life to farming and being a successful farmer. He was partnered with his late son, Larry to become A.I. Neily and Son Farms. He was a member of the Nictaux Baptist Church, serving as Church Clerk for many years and on other church boards. He was also President of the Nictaux Cemetery Company for 50 plus years. Arthur was a very kind and loving husband, father and grandfather and a well-respected man. He dearly loved his grandchildren and little great grandson. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, the former Irene Mosher and son, Glendon Neily , both of Nictaux West; sister, Geraldine Bishop, Bridgetown; grandchildren, Jessica (Mike) Neily, Timberlea; J. Neily, Halifax , Alicia Neily, Ottawa and great grandson, Gabriel. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by son, Larry. Cremation has taken place. By request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held 3:00PM, Sunday, November 11, 2012 in the Nictaux Baptist Church with Rev. Bill McLeod officiating. Private family interment will be in Nictaux Cemetery. By request, family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the Nictaux Baptist Church, Nictaux Cemetery or charity of choice.
