KEDDY, Aubrey Leslie
~ Age 70, of Millville, Kings Co., passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born on June 1, 1951, in Berwick, Kings Co., he was a son of Mary E. (Creemer) Keddy, Kingston, and the late Bertwell A. Keddy. Aubrey enjoyed time hanging out with his wife and will be remembered as a soft spoken man who was a very kind hearted and loving husband. He was always interested in what his entire family was doing, and often speaking with his brothers-in-law, Donnie and Timmy on the telephone. Aubrey had a daily routine of visiting his brother-in-law, Greg's automotive garage in the mornings. He was known to always have a diet Pepsi in his hand and spent many hours working on jigsaw puzzles. Aubrey has worked at several different businesses during his life, including a time employed by his brother-in-law. He was usually driving a truck or working as a heavy equipment operator – the bigger the better. Aubrey always kept up on the happenings in the trucking industry. He was a former member of Aylesford & District Volunteer Fire Department and continued to provide a helping hand if a member called upon him. Aubrey was a man who had no fears and will be sadly missed and remembered by his family, friends and community. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife of 34 years, the former Darlene L. Atwater; sister, Elaine (Donnie) O'Brien, New Minas; niece, Christine; nephew, Ian; great nieces, Eva and Emily; great nephew, Daniel. Besides his father, he was predeceased by a sister in infancy. A private interment took place on Sunday, February 20, in Aylesford Union Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to Diabetes Canada, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to your favourite charity.
