ROACH (Conrad), Avis Amy – age 90 of Greenwood, NS passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Daughter of Robert Darius and Amy Louisa (Conrad) Conrad, Vogler's Cove, NS. Born in Vogler's Cove, Lunenburg Co., April 28 th , 1926. Wife of the late Lyman LeRoy Roach, Kingston, NS, son of LeRoy and Blanche Roach, Kingston, NS. Survived by daughter Judith (Judi) Mae Medicraft, Greenwood, NS and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Wilhelmina Margaret Conrad, baby sister still-born, brothers Harold Walter and Basil Aretos, Conrad. A spiritually born-again believer in Jesus Christ and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Melvern Square, NS. In keeping with Avis's wishes, a graveside service will be held 2:00PM Monday, September 19, 2016 in North Kingston Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Kaiser officiating. No flowers please but donations may be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund or missionary out-reach of the church.
