Obituary

It is with broken hearts that the family announces the passing of Aynard George Parsons, age 69, of North Kingston. He died Thursday, June 29th, 2017, at home in the arms of his loving wife of 47 years, Donna, with their four children by his side. Born in Berwick, he was the son of the late Aynard and Erma (Toole) Parsons. He founded Parsons Motors in 1975 as a Volkswagen Dealership. Later he expanded into Parsons RV Centre. Aynard devoted his life to making his business successful, and making memories with his wife and his children. The summers, when his children were young, were spent camping, eventually replaced by the cottage in Port George. Other times of year the family would take trips, go on Sunday drives, and find other adventures. As the years went on, and he became a Grandfather, his commitment never changed. The trips to Florida continued, there were camping trips with Grammy and Grampy, and almost every Saturday night was spent together as a family. Aynard loved his work and family, and lived his life exactly how he wanted. He said he was happy with his life, a true testament to a life well lived. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna (Ward); his daughters, Sandra (Brian) Parsons Hall, North Kingston; Karen (Matthew) Parsons-Roop, Middleton; Kimberley (David) Barkhouse, Greenhill; son, Edward (Amy), Nictaux; grandchildren, Sebastian, Megan, Kevin, Samuel, Owen and William.  He will be missed by his constant companion, his little dog, Freddie. He is also survived by his sister, Virginia (Pierre-Paul) Desrochers, Kingston.  Aynard also truly valued his long term employees and considered them all family. He was predeceased by sisters; Alice Davies, Lorraine Bent and Eva May. There will be no visitation by request.  A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, July 3, 2017 at Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St. Middleton, 902-825-3448, with Rev. Leon Langille officiating, followed by a reception. Private interment will be held in the North Kingston Cemetery.
