COGSWELL, Barbara Ann– age 68 of Nictaux, NS passed away February 13, 2017 at Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Centre, Middleton. Born in Kentville, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Emma (Parrish) Dominey. Predeceased by her husband Donald who was the love of her life. She loved crafts, going fishing with Donnie and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Barb also enjoyed volunteering at Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Centre. Barb is survived by daughter Kim (Troy) Grant, Tupperville; sons, Marty Cogswell (Kim Cornish), Leduc, AB; Scott Cogswell (Terri Mosher), Middleton; Jerry Cogswell, Nictaux; sisters Carolyn Meister (Fred Ward), Coldbrook; Debbie (Eric) Meisner Somerset; Wanda (Gary) Trevors, Lakeville; Judy (Clayton) Crocker, Coldbrook; brothers Eric Dominey (John Gabner) Bedford; Joe (Carolyn) Dominey, Coldbrook; grandchildren Corey (JaCynda), Brianna, Jeremy, Connor, Collin, Gabe and Jude; great-grandchildren Sophia, Carson and Lincoln and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In keeping with Barb's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 18, 2017 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Patty Beals officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. Interment will take place at a later date in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville.
