GRAVES, Barbara Ann –age 77 of Port Lorne passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Port Lorne, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Vera (Wagner) Brinton. Barbara was a member of Port Lorne Baptist Church and the Port Lorne Fire Department Auxiliary.  She was a correspondent for the Bridgetown Monitor and the Mirror-Examiner for many years.  Barbara will be remembered by her family as being a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She is survived by her husband, Walter Graves; daughter, Marie (David) Schurman, Berwick; son, John Graves (JoeAnn L'Ecuyer), Yorkton, SK; brothers, Edward (Loretta) Brinton, Hillsborough, NB; Clifford (Debbie) Brinton, Marshalltown, NS; Glenn (Pat) Brinton, New Brunswick; grandchildren, Janessa, Jaydon, Stephanie, B.J., Anthony, Devon, Kevin and great granddaughter, Infinity.  Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brother, Lorne Brinton.  Visitation will be held 7:00PM to 9:00PM Sunday, December 13, 2015 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, (902) 825-3448 where the funeral service will be held 2:00PM Monday, December 14, 2015 with Pastor Heather Pearle- Gillis officiating.  Interment will be in Fundy View Cemetery, Port Lorne.   Donations in memory of Barbara may be made to a Charity of Choice.  Online guest book may be signed by visiting: www.middletonfuneralhome.com
