HAAYER (Jones), Barbara Ann – age 54 of Cambridge, Kings Co., passed away on January 19, 2017, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Berwick, Kings Co., she was a daughter of Roger Jones, Brampton, Ont., and Myrna (Sherman) Jones Cambridge. The most important thing in Barbara's life was her family. She loved to cook, work at ceramics and was often found behind the lens of her camera taking pictures. Barbara was a people person and prior to her illness was the Post Office Manager at Lawtons Drug Store, New Minas. She previously was employed at Atlantic Superstore, New Minas and Cornwallis Veterinarians, Kentville, Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jan B. "John" Haayer; sons, Jan (Kristy) Haayer, Waterville; Bernie (Kristin), Dartmouth; grandchildren, Nathanual, Andrew, Caley, Lucas, Dillon and Savannah; brothers, James Jones, Canaan; Trevor (Denise) Jones, Mississauga, Ont. There will be no visitation or service. A private interment will take place. Donations may be made to Kings Co. S.P.C.A.
