MORIARITY, Barbara Annie May ~ Age 79, of Morden Rd., Aylesford, Kings Co., passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Forties, Lunenburg Co., she was a daughter of the Percy C. and Helen E.M. (Bezanson) E.M. Corkum. Barb worked hard all her life and took care of everyone. She was a true lady and loved her family more than anything. Barb loved to knit as we as a family all have more than one homemade item that she loving made. Surviving are her daughter, Gail (Curtis) Angevine, Wilmot ; son, Wade (Juanita) Moriarity, Greenwood; grandchildren, Bryon, Cheryl and Wade Russell; great grandchildren, Parker, Claire, Brady, Harrison, Kohen and Jaxen; sisters, Eva (Joseph) Vidito, Nictaux; Shirley Graves and Lottie Rafuse, both of Ontario; Janet Corkum, Alberta; Marg (Mac) MacDonald, Greenwood; brothers, Andrew (Charlene) Corkum, New Brunswick; James Corkum, Berwick; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Barb was predeceased by her husband, Russell R. Moriarity; two sons, Keith Morgan and Randolph Colin; sisters, Nell and Lillian. There will be no visitation. A private graveside service will take place in St. Mary's Anglican Cemetery, Auburn, with Rev. Mel Malton officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to Diabetes Canada or to Morden Community Centre Association. The family wish to give a special thank you for all the care given by the doctors and nurses at Valley Regional Hospital.
