WEAVER, Barbara Alburtha ~ age 77 of Middleton, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Kentville, she was the only child of the late William and Hilda (Welton) Chase. Barbara graduated with a diploma in secretarial studies from NSCC and worked as a secretary with the Municipality of Annapolis for 6 years and at Mountain Lea Lodge for 9 years. She enjoyed quilting, reading and "running the roads" in her spare time. Barbara will be sadly missed by her daughter, Beverly Todd, Calgary; sons, Trevor Weaver (Grace Elmore), Port George and Parker "David" Weaver (Pansy Clow), New Minas; grandchildren, Justin, Mary-Anne, Natasha, Mike Jr., Max and Travis; and 7 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her grandson, Spencer Todd. In keeping with Barbara's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service.
