Obituary

LLEWELLYN (Hannam), Beatrice May – age 79 of Kingston, NS passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Windsor, NS she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Helen (Burns) Benedict. Beatrice enjoyed country music and was a very devoted Christian who loved her Lord dearly. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are daughters Susan (Leonard) Pick, Lawrencetown and Linda (John) Douthwright, West Dalhousie; son Edward (Debi) Hannam, Morse Road, Annapolis County; brother Norval (Albina)Benedict , Ontario; five grandchildren, four step grandchildren and six great grandchildren; step-daughters Pam (Tim) D'Aubin, New Albany, Darlene Bennett, Kingston, NS and Wendy (Milford) Porter, Nictaux; stepsons Bob (Trudy) Llewellyn, New Albany and Donald Llewellyn, Newfoundland. Beatrice was predeceased by her first husband, "the love of her life" Austin Hannam and her second husband Norman Llewellyn; sisters Emma and Julie; brothers Rufus, Archie, Arthur and Donald as well as grandson Robert Pick. By Beatrice's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2016 in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St. (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. Interment will be in the West Dalhousie Baptist Cemetery. By request, family flowers only.
