BOND, Benjamin Arthur – age 82, of Meadowvale, passed away peacefully June 9, 2017 at home. Born in Northville, Kings Co., he was a son of the late Calvin and Estella (Johnstone) Bond. He had been employed at Webster Farms from where he retired. He was a member for 40 years of the Calvary Baptist Church, Meadowvale. He loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed animals, playing Triominos along with a good cup of Tim Horton's French Vanilla Cappuccino. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, the former Dorothy Frank; daughters, Alice Bond, Middleton; Charlotte Bond and Annette Bond, both of Kingston; son, Allen Bond, Kingston; brother, Cecil (Margaret) Bond, Kentville; sisters, Lena Harper, Muriel Butler, both of Kentville; Marjorie (Bill) Gondar, Stoney Creek, ON; Minnie (Stan) Kott, Hamilton, ON; grandchildren, Melissa and Anthony. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Mark; sisters, Kathleen "Kay" Creemer; Margaret Johnston; brother John "Bud" Bond. Visitation will be held 6-8pm Tuesday June 13, 2017 with a  Funeral Service to be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday June 14, 2017 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., 902-825-3448 with Rev. Warren Jones officiating. A reception for family and friends will follow the service. Interment will be in Tremont Cemetery, Tremont.
