Obituary

Bentley Roy Stoddart - 74, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2026 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.

Bentley was predeceased by his parents, Mary (Campbell) Stoddart and Dr. James Stoddart, and by his brothers Ted and Shawn. He is survived by his sister Bonnie.

He is remembered by his wife of 52 years, Linda Ramsay-Stoddart; his daughters Melissa Stoddart and her husband Jason LeBlanc, and Vanessa Stoddart and her husband Kyle Endres.

He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Ayden, Westin, Hyatt, and Emery, who brought him great joy.

Bentley was a graduate of West Kings High School and was known for his ability to excel in many sports, including volleyball, basketball, golf, and badminton. He was always a gentleman, a loyal friend, and a steady presence to those who knew him.

From his wife, Linda:

Bentley, you were my partner, my constant, and my home for 52 years. Thank you for the life we shared and the family we built. You will always be deeply missed, and forever in my heart.

A private family interment will take place in the spring in Aylesford Union Cemetery, with a Celebration of Life to follow for family and friends.
