BLAGDON, Bessie Lawrence ~ Our hearts are broken with the sudden passing of Bessie Blagdon age 89 of Greenwood, Kings Co., our loving and beautiful wife, mother and grandmother who was the life of every party and the best of us all. Originally from Boxey, NL., Bessie was predeceased by her parents, siblings and late son, Brian. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Onslow; children, Bruce (Pat), Beverly (John) and Bernadette (Brad); grandchildren, Angela, Jerremy, Nicole, Samantha and Victoria; four great grandchildren; and countless loved ones and friends. She loved sharing stories of her and Onslow's many adventures together, which included jumping from a moving train and many hilarities during their time spent overseas. She was deeply kind and thoughtful, hopelessly clumsy and never said 'no' to a game of cards. Her greatest passion was caring for and doting upon others, especially Onslow. Her jokes and witty humor kept us all laughing with her until the very end. A special thank you to Dr. Lee and the Emergency and ICU teams at Valley Regional Hospital for taking such great care of our favourite person. Cremation has taken place.
