It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Betty Joyce Baltzer, age 85, on October 9, 2025, in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Tremont, she was a daughter of the late Ira and Bernice (Conrad) Zwicker. Betty's working life reflected her dedication and diligence. She was employed as an office clerk with TRA in Middleton, the Co-Op, Halifax Seed, and Chrysler Dodge, where she was respected for her professionalism and warm demeanor. Her legacy is one of quiet strength, deep compassion, and steadfast devotion to those she loved. Betty will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her loyalty, and the grace with which she lived each day. She is survived by her loving husband, William "Bill"; daughter Patricia Bennett, Kentville; son Terry Baltzer (Christine Moore), East Torbrook; grandchildren Anthony Bennett, Kentville; Brandon (Samantha) Bennett, Kentville; Jack (Sheridan) Baltzer), East Torbrook; Daniel Baltzer, East Torbrook; great grandson Kelab Bennett; sisters Ellen Charlton, Margaret (Wayne) Dugay, and Geraldine (Keith) Hines. Along with her parents, Betty was predeceased by two children infancy, Carla and Jeffrey, sisters Verna and Lois, brother Vernon, and son-in-law Paul.
