CONSTANTINE, Betty Ramona ~ age 85 of Kingston, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2018 in Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. Born in Kingston, NS, she was a daughter of the late Cecil John and Eileen (Stronach) Gould. Betty was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She had many hobbies that she enjoyed including knitting, gardening, reading, cooking and playing bingo. She loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Betty will be sadly missed by her daughter Debra (Barry) Scott, Halifax; son Rick (Sheryl Gould) Bushell, East Kingston; grandchildren Chris (Amanda), David (Lois Ann), Kyle (Kristina), Danielle, Brandon, Kate and Savannah (Matt); great grandchildren Ethan and Ryan, Jack (and one on the way), Felix and Harley; and former daughter-in-law Cindy Bushell who was a special friend to Betty and was with her right to the end. Besides her parents, Betty was predeceased by her first and second husband Thomas Edward Bushell and Linus Constantine; sisters Vivian Thompson, Jeanette Norum; brothers LaVerne Gould and Harry in infancy. In keeping with Betty's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will take place at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to the IWK Health Centre Foundation.
