Lutes, Betty Joan - 87, of Kingston passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 in Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville. Born in Moncton, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Arbing) Mills.

Betty loved to travel with Albert when he performed on stage. She was an avid reader, loved crosswords, and puzzle books.

Surviving are her daughter, Beatrice Cormier; son George Lutes; brother Michael Mills; one grandchild; two great grandchildren; and her long-time friend and caregiver Sue (Martin) Wentzell, South Williamston. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, August Lutes; common law spouse Albert Clarke; son Jeff Lutes; daughter, Stella; brothers Gregory and Robert.

In keeping with Betty's wishes, cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest in the spring with her mother in Elmwood Cemetery, Moncton, NB.
